This fall marks the twelfth edition of Newcity's Best of Chicago. As always, we bring a team of expert critics together with the best critics of all--you! Please share your expertise with us in this poll. We'll tabulate the results, add our two cents, throw in a few extra categories of our own, and voila! The biggest edition of Newcity of the year will publish on September 23.

Here's how to participate. You don't need to vote in every category, but you must vote in at least ten categories for your ballot to count. Only one entry per reader; suspected ballot-stuffers will be disqualified. Votes may be cast through midnight, September 12. Some of the questions are essay questions. Make sure you allow yourself enough time, if you have a lot to say. Unfortunately, you have only one shot to complete the survey.
